I aquí no som menys. Espanya en els últims temps s’ha apuntat a totes les iniciatives verdes que s’han presentat. És un tema que ha calat molt fort entre la gent i els governants han tirat pel dret. Fins i tot podem llegir recentment com el líder espiritual del canvi climàtic, Al Gore, destaca el lideratge d’Espanya en matèria d’energies renovables. Però tot te un límit, i s’ha de mantenir un equilibri entre medi ambient i economia, com en tot.
En l’article anterior a aquest, parlàvem de l’ICCC, on alguns dels més importants científics i personalitats crítics amb el canvi climàtic antropogènic, es reuniren en la segona edició d’aquesta trobada, celebrada a New York. Doncs també va haver representació espanyola, on Gabriel Calzada, doctor en Economia i president del Instituto Juan de Mariana, va exposar la situació espanyola en relació al protocol de Kyoto i les energies renovables, com a diagnòstic de les polítiques de la UE. Les seves valoracions van ser negatives, considerant un fracàs les polítiques climàtiques europees, Kyoto inclòs, i la actuació en qüestions de energies renovables a Espanya. Les seves paraules han tingut repercussió internacional, molta més que a nivell nacional, com sempre.
Kyoto, molts diners i benefici imperceptible
Calzada, en referència al protocol de Kyoto, afirmà que es tracta de un programa de racionament de CO2, d’un cost de desenes de milers de milions de dòlars, el benefici del qual seria una reducció de 0.07ºC per al 2050.
Per si no fos prou, durant el cap de setmana de la trobada, els diferents científics van estar d’acord en que la pujada de les temperatures que es notà durant el segle XX es imperceptible des del 1995, tot i les creixents emisions de CO2, cosa que posa en dubte la credibilitat dels models climàtics així com l’acció del home sobre aquest escalfament.
El miracle de les energies renovables a Espanya, insostenible
El doctor Calzada, durant la seva ponència, es va referir al creixement de les energies renovables espanyoles dient que:
“El miracle renovable espanyol es va produir a costa d’ajudes públiques a causa de la ineficiència d’aquestes tecnologies, produint, a més, una bombolla artificial i insostenible”
“Es va tractar d’un procés de redistribució massiu pel que uns pocs van aconseguir enormes sumes de diners i rendibilitats d’entre el 12% i el 20% anual a costa de la classe mitjana i baixa espanyola. A més, el sector solar i eòlic va crear llocs de treball subprime a Espanya. Uns llocs de treball inviables que han costat més llocs de treball dels que ha creat”
“Amb els subsidis atorgats a les ineficients energies renovables per cada treball creat podríem contractar treballadors que no produïssin res i pagar un sou superior al salari mínim durant més de 60 anys. El problema és que aquestesenormes sumes de diners públics, enterrades en l’intent de generar llocs de treball verds, han sortit del consumidor final o d’altres sectors de l’economia en els que es destruïen ocupacions”.
És per això que el president del Instituto Juan de Mariana considera insostenible el model energètic espanyol. Continuà amb les següents paraules:
“Es tracta d’un model energètic insostenible, que s’ha ensorrat després de la impossibilitat d’augmentar exponencialment les ajudes de les que depenia el seu creixement i degut al dèficit tarifari que generava. De fet, en l’actualitat, les empreses renovables acomiaden avui a milers de treballadors a Espanya “
En fi, ja ens ho trobarem d’aquí a uns anys. El ressò que tindran aquestes paraules, jo ja ho imagino.
